Maintenance and support
We look after applications and servers after launch: monitoring, updates and help with resolving issues. Your team has someone to turn to for support.
What we do
We base maintenance on a specific agreement: we set the scope, response time and monthly budget of work, and you get predictability – the system is monitored, updated and developed at a steady pace. We look after both systems we've built and ones taken over from other vendors.
Monitoring and response
We monitor system availability and errors. Alerts help detect issues, while priorities and response times are agreed as part of the support plan.
Updates and security
We update software and servers, review dependencies and respond to reported vulnerabilities. This helps reduce risk and prepare the system for further development.
Backups and recovery
We set up automated backups and test restoring them periodically. We agree how to recover data and restore service after a failure.
Small improvements in your monthly plan
We agree a monthly pool of hours for fixes and smaller improvements. Your team can raise requests as they arise, and we set priorities together.

How it works in practice
- 1
Taking over the system
A technical audit, tidying up access and documentation, setting up monitoring and backups. After this stage we know exactly what we're looking after.
- 2
Agreeing the rules
Together we define the scope, response time and monthly pool of hours. Simple rules and one fixed fee that you know in advance.
- 3
Ongoing care
We monitor, update and develop. Every month you get a short report: what happened, what we did and what we recommend.
Ongoing care, a clear plan
We agree the scope of support, how to raise requests and the budget. Monitoring, backups and regular improvements support your everyday operations.
Monitoring and alerts
We track system availability and errors. Alerts help detect issues and respond according to agreed priorities.
Backups that work
We run automated backups and test restoring them periodically. This lets us assess how data recovery works in practice.
A budget known in advance
An agreed pool of hours helps plan fixes and smaller improvements. Each month, we summarise the work completed.

We set it individually in the agreement, depending on how critical the system is. You know exactly what you can count on before anything happens.
We take on systems like this regularly. We start with an audit and by tidying up access and documentation, so we know exactly what we're looking after before we agree the terms of our work together.
We agree the rules for carrying hours over individually in the agreement – some clients prefer a fixed, predictable fee, others prefer a pool that carries over to the next month. We discuss it openly when signing the agreement.
We set out notice periods and handover terms in the agreement. We prepare documentation, access and code so the next team can take over support for the system.
